We are proud to publish a case report in the Journal of Eucornea ( which is the official journal of the Cornea Society of Europe – EuCornea ) , of a rare corneal infection by a fungus called Histoplasma Capsulatum . Normally it has been known to infect immunocompromised patients. This was the first case report in the world in a healthy immunocompetent individual.
