Cornea Surgical Advances & Refractive Surgery Course – ( Corneologue 2009)
The 1st CSARSC 2009, at Retina Foundation 2009 conducted by the Cornea Services and WaveLase Eye Centre on 17th to 19th July 2009 was well appreciated and had over 86 delegates coming in from all over India, including Mumbai, Nagpur, Dehradun etc.
Apart from the discussions after the presentations there was a live surgery demonstration on 19th July Sunday, during which DMEK, Descemets’ Stripping Endothelial Keratoplasty Surgery, advanced corneal transplantation technique was done by Dr Rajesh Fogla, Hyderabad. Also Live Demonstration Of Phakic ICL technique was done by Dr Gaurav Luthra , Dehradun.
The course was preceeded by a Wet Lab on LASIK- Microkeratome and Phakic Implantable Contact Lens at the New World iCare – WaveLase Eye Centre ( Centre for Cornea ) , Ahmedabad.
